I’m working on a vertical slice of a game idea called Neon Echoes. An HD2D Cyberpunk-style detective game where you are a detective trying to determine who killed a shady echo dealer. Echoes are people’s recorded memories. Basically that person from last week that posted the amazing HD2D RPG footage that was all rendered at run-time inspired me to try the same thing with Three.js and a $20 a month Claude subscription and the cheapest pixellab.ai subscription. So the world is rendered at runtime and the pixel characters are obviously pre-made pixel lab sprites. The sound is also generated and…
